The Munster Agricultural Society is proud to announce Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery as its Charity of the Year for 2026.
This remarkable volunteer-led organisation provides vital support to families and communities during search and recovery operations across Cork and beyond. Working tirelessly in often challenging conditions, their team offers practical assistance, compassion, and hope to those facing the unimaginable — helping to bring answers when they are needed most.
As a Society rooted in community, the Munster Agricultural Society is committed to supporting organisations that make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives. The work carried out by Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery reflects the very spirit of volunteerism and solidarity that underpins our own values and long-standing connection with the people of Munster.
This is also a very special year for the charity as they celebrate their 25th anniversary, and we are proud to be part of such a significant milestone in their journey.
Throughout 2026, we look forward to working closely with the group and raising awareness of the essential services they provide.
We are delighted to welcome Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery to two of the Society’s flagship events this year:
-
MAS Ball – Launch of the Cork Summer Show | Friday, 24th April 2026
-
Cork Summer Show | 20th & 21st June 2026
We are honoured to have Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery as our charity partner for the year ahead and look forward to supporting their invaluable work in the months to come.
