The minutes of the last meeting were read & signed.
It was decided to recommend to the General Committee to Co-opt Mr. P. Bradley on the Committee in place of Mr. S.C. Carvanagh,who resigned in his favour. Mr. Cavanagh stated that he would of course give the same help as in previous years to this section of the Show.
In connection with the Prize list for the 1932 Summer Show, it was agreed that, before finally deciding on the classification the Secretary should invite Head Gardeners Exhibitions & others interested in the section of the Show to a meeting to be held at this office on the 12th November to receive suggestions from them as to the best ways & means of improving the entries.
The Secretary was further directed to write to the various seedsmen asking them for special prizes. Mrs. Dring states she would give a silver medal to the winner of the Cup gaining the greatest number of points in the flower section.
Mr. Crowley suggested that we should have a competition for Market Gardeners, he kindly offering prizes in same. It was agreed after some discussion to place this suggestion before the meeting to be held on the 12th November, asking them to draw up the conditions of this Competition.
