The reports  of the Judges  on the various  classes judged  by them  at the late Show  were used  and approved  and  on the motion of Mr.O’Sullivan ,seconded by Mr. Chas  MacDonald , a vote of thanks  was passed to Col. Alexander who very kindly  judges free of charge to the Committee.

A recommendation  was sent from the Show Committee  that the Summer Show  of 1932 be held  on the 29th & 30th June and a further recommendation to discuss the advisability of holding a three days  Show .

On  putting the recommendation  to the meeting, no.1. was adopted, that the Show be held on 29th  & 30th June, 1932. Mr. P. Crowley, who  was not  in time to hear the decision  on this  motion  did not think  the three  days’ proposition  should be  turned down, as he saw no  reason why  a three day’s show  would not  be successful, and  after further  discussion  it was  decided on the  motion of  Mr. Crowley  , seconded…

By Mr.  Ross, that the matter be  re-considered by the Show Committee. Mr. Frank Hayes  suggested  that  a recommendation  be sent to the Show Committee that Dog  Racing should be included in the events taking place  in the jumping enclosure , and , after  some discussion,  this was  referred  to the  Show Committee ,as well as  several  other matters relating to the late Show.

A letter was read from the Secretary of the Mallow Agricultural  Show, protesting  against  the holding of the Cork  Show next year on the 29th June, a date on which the Mallow Show Committee had held their  Show for the past thirty years .

The Secretary stated that in 1926 the same issue occurred. A meeting  of representatives  of both Show Committees was  held in that year, and it was  decided  that the dates of the Cork Show be fixed to suit  Mallow  and it  was agreed  that Cork should get 29th June in 1932.The Secretary  was directed to write informing the Mellow  Committee  that the Cork Show  Committee  could not  see  their  way to  depart from the date fixed for next years’ Show.
