On the death of his mother Lady Colthurst seconded by Mr. Henderson.
On the proposition of Mr. A.H. Moore seconded by Mr. Crowley and supported by the Mr. Desmond .A vote of sympathy was also passed to the relatives of the Late Henry H. Beale.

The minutes of the last meeting was read & signed.
The prize list for the 1931 Spring Show was considered and the following alterations (with the dates of birth applicable to each class) were made.
In the case of Bulls of the Shorthorn Type class & of last year was derived owing to large entry received into two classes viz:-
(a)Bull of Shorthom Jype calved in January ,1930 not eligible for entry in Coats Hand Book Dam only or both Dam & sine on the Depts. Regyshi)
Prizes £4 £3 £2 £1
(B) Bull of Shortham Jype calved in February,1930 same condition , £4,£3,£2,£1
The prize money for Pedigree Shorthom Bull calved in or before 1929was reduced from
£3 , £2 and £1 to £2-£1
Aberdeen –Angus instead of two classes it was decided to have four Vizs
Bull Calved in December 1929, £4.£2.£1

Herefords the prizes for the old bulls were reduced from £4.£2.£1 to £2.£1. and the prizes for the young Bull increased from £2 +£1 to £4.£2.£1the same to apply to British Friesian Bulls.
Prizes the classes & prizes were allowed to remain as last Spring Show Sale.
Stallions:- Classes & Prizes to remain (with coaches)as was offered at this young Spring Show sale.
All the other classes for Bulls were allowed to remain the same as this year with the exception of the date of birth.
At this year Show the prize money in a good many of the classes was provided by the D.A.J.J and Co. Committee of Agri through the Irish Dairy Shorthorn Breeders and the Secretary was directed to write to the Secretary of the Department & Mr. P.J. Halliden Hon. Sec. J.D.B.S. asking them if they will renew same for next year’s Show.
The president Capt. T.A. Clarke kindly renewed his prizes in class 1of £15 for which the Society are deeply grateful.
On the motion of the President Capt. T.A. Clarke seconded by Mr. J. O’Sullivan Messrs. Wm. Marsh & Sons Cork were again unanimously appointed auctioneers for sale of Bulls and pigs at the Spring show of
