The minutes of the last meeting were read & signed.
The Secretary reported that Messrs. McKenzies had kindly consented to present a cup for the best non-pedigree Shorthorn Bull at the Spring Show to be won three times not necessarily in succession by the same exhibitor before becoming his property.
The Secretary was directed to convey the best thanks of the Society to Mr Atkins of Messrs. Mc. Kenzie’s + to suggest that the inscription on the Cup should read for the Best non-Pedigree Bull in the Show under 18 months old. This would ensure that the same Bull would not win it twice.
In connection with the complaints (re jumping competitions at this year Summer Show)made by Col. Ryan it was decided to consider the matter at a meeting of the Show Committee to be held on the 3rd Jan 1931.
