The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Read letter from Royal Dublin Society regretting that they would not give a grant towards the New building as they had no funds at their disposal, which they could so apply.
The following gentlemen were appointed as a former committee to collect subscriptions with power to add to their number, Sir. George Lothurst, G. Murphy, and S. Furlong.
On the motion of Mr. S French, it was decided to offer a premium of £10 for the best place for the new show yard.
Mr. Michael Hennessy, Ballindeasig House was proposed by Mr. R.A Hayes, seconded by Mr. A.G Warren as member of the society.
