Read letter from secretary of Corn Market Trustees stating that our application for the yard had been deformed and that he had been directed to write to the secretaries of both societies as to the details of their shows in order if possible to prevent them clashing.
After very considerable discussion it was decided on the motion of Sir. George Lothurst that the secretary be directed to write to the trustees and inform them that on no account could the dates fixed by altered and to ask at the same time for a decided answer as to whether we could have could have the yard as asked for or not.
