The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The following gentlemen were proposed as members of the society, John Atkins, prop. by W. Roberts, sec. G. Heard, W. Sunderland, prop. W. Roberts, sec. by S.A Nash, R.A Anderson, Doneraile, prop. by J. Byrne, sec. A.G Warren, W. Scannel, Maryborough, Douglas, prop. by A.G Warren, seconded by J. Byrne, A. Boumphney, Rocklodge, Monkstown, prop. by Capt. Newenham, sec. by R.A Hayes, Walker Morrough, South Mall, Cork, prop. by Capt. Newenham, sec. by R.A Hayes.
The scheme for raising money for the purpose of erecting the show yard was again under consideration where it was decided that the clause with reference to the loan fund should be altered and that the society should not undertake to pay back any part of the money raised by voluntary contribution.
The following gentlemen were elected to form the Limited Liability Co. James Byrne, W.R Meade, S. Graham, W.A Beamish, J. Ahern, A. Ferguson, R.A Hayes, Col. Shuldhum, A.G Warren, Sir George Lothurst, R.H Beamish, Capt. Woodley, J. Donovon, R.L Longfield, W. Roberts, S. French, G. Furlong, George Heard, Daly Murray, George Logan.
It was decided that the following should act as trustees to the lease from the corporation, James Byrne, S. Graham, W.R Meade, L.A Beamish, Sir George Lothurst. and A. Ferguson.
