The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. 

Read letter from the secretary of the fruit growers association stating that they had not as of yet issued any pamphlet containing practical hints on fruit growing, but that they proposed if they had sufficient funds giving prizes for the best kept fruit farm in England and if possible in Ireland also.  

The consideration of the letter from the Hunters Improvement Society was then opened up and when it was decided on the motion of Mr. W.R Meade and seconded by Capt. Newenham that the prizes for Brood Mares should be increased to £25 to enable the society to qualify for the gold medal. 

The secretary was directed to write to the Corn Market Trustees and ascertain whether they would kindly give the use of their premises for the show to be held in July.
