Read letter from the Royal Dublin Society Stating the following gentlemen had kindly consented to act as judges of stallions at the show, Mr J. Hare, Mr. Gubbins, and Major Burrows.
The secretary announced that he had been unable to obtain permission to close the yard and that it would be necessary if it was decided to make a charge for entrance to partition off a portion of the yard, it was decided after inspecting the yard would be impracticable and the idea of charging an entrance fee was consequently abandoned.
