The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Mr. Smith waited on the committee with reference to a letter written by the secretary to the stock-keeper after considerable discussion Mr. Ferguson proposed that the apology of the meeting be given to Mr. Smith as there was no communication, however to the proposition the matter dropped. 

Mr. Loyer Woodhill, Cork, having been proposed and seconded at a former meeting of the society was elected member. 

Read letter from Mr. Heymour, enclosing the declaration as to the age of his Heifer after some discussion it was decided that Mr. Heymour provide his Herd Book to the secretary or Hon secretary otherwise he would have to forfeit his prize. 

The advisability of holding a spring show was then considered and after some discussion, the matter was adjourned until next meeting, it being decided on the motion of Mr. Donovon seconded by Mayor Barry a deputation consisting of Mr. Hayes, Mr. Baxter, Mr. Warren, and Mr. Donovon should wait on the Royal Dublin Society during the horse show week and ascertain if they would give the society any assistance for holding such a show or they would give them the distribution of the served premises money for the South of Ireland. 

Cheque for £350 to pay prizes was passed and prize cheques for amount filled.
