Meeting of the General Committee dated April 7th, 1888, with J.H. Gallway in the Chair

Mr. Piehard, Dunbeacon, Cork, having been proposed and seconded at a former meeting was elected member of the society.
Mr. David and H. Young was proposed by Mr. Bird and seconded by Mr. Meade as members of the society.
On the motion of Mr. Meade it was decided that the show committee be the same as last year with the addition of the following members, Capt Stopford, H. Reid, R.H Beamish, and J. Donovon.
Mr. L.A Beamish asked for the sanction of the committee to the appointment of Mr. Pemrose as a member of the Dairy School Committee which was granted.
On the motion of Mr. Meade it was decided to change the show for the meeting of the committee to 2 o clock.
Mr. Meade gave notice that at the next meeting, they would have to appoint an Hon Secretary in room of Mr. Hare who had resigned.
