The minutes of meeting of the 14th & 18th Dec and 8th January were read and confirmed. 

Professor Hart, Queen's College, Cork, proposed at meeting of 4th Dec. was unanimously elected a member of the society. 

The following were proposed as members for election. 

Major W.J Doyle, Ballinhassig. Proposed by Mr Hare, seconded by Mr Meade. 

Capt. H. Kerrick, Belmount, Crookstown. Proposed by Mr Warren, seconded by Mr Meade. 

Read letter of 30th January, from Mr Wallis, a prescription stating that having won one of the 5 equal prizes of £200 and a gold medal by the Royal Ag Society of England at the Great Stallion Show, held on 25th January, he could not fulfill the conditions attached to the prize won at the Societys Show, and would therefore return the amount of prize money awarded. 

Read letter of 10th January from Mr Savage French condoning cheque for £15 being collected by him towards Mr Carrols expenses to Society.

Read letter of 23rd Dec. from Prof. Hart mentioning that he had received from Mr Meade a collection of good commercial examples of the most important seeds (30 tubes) also copies of them prize funds and recognition of feeds received. 

It was on the motion of Mr James Kergie, seconded by Mr Hare, decided ''that the thanks of the committee be conveyed for the collection of the feeds and to the consideration of the society''. 

Read letter of 29th Jan. from Mr Hare John Street, Cork, sending copies of cheque with reference to the growing of flora in the county. 

Mr L.A Neamish submitted the amended rules and regulations in connection with the seed station as drawn up by the Show Committee, which was approved, and it was decided '' that a copy of the Regulations should be sent out to each member of the society.''

It was arranged to hold the annual general meeting of the society on Saturday 19th March at 2pm. 

Mr Meade, gave notice that he would at next meeting suggest that a list of committees be proposed for submission to the annual general meeting for approval.
