The consideration of the subject was proposed to general meeting, August 7th.

Read letter of 17th July, with reference to holding an exhibition. The question having been discussed it was on the motion of L.P Fitzgerald decided that it was not of sufficient importance to the district to justify the security in expanding its funds on an exhibition of them.

Read report of Show Committee with reference to holding of a Dairy conference at Cork in 1887. The report advised the holding of the conference but as the funds of the society would not permit of the committee undertaking the expenses in connection, they suggested that a public meeting should be hold, and sufficient funds raised to meet the expenses of the conference. A committee to be funded partly from the agricultural society and partly from the public meeting to carry out the conference.
